Kenyan heroine given a starting role against Ethiopia in a FIFA WCQ

Kenya heroine, Maureen Khakasa has been handed a starting berth as Kenya hosts Ethiopia in  FIFA U20 Women's World Cup qualifier in Machakos.

Khakasa scored Kenya’s late equalizer in the first leg 2-2 draw with Ethiopia away two weeks ago.

That heroic performance earned her another start alongside Wincate Kaari who will also be charged with the extra responsibility of charged bearing the armband.

Nyakach Girls' goalkeeper, Lillian Awuor will start in the post with experienced Corazon Aquino controlling the midfield.

Kenya just needs a draw to progress to the next and final round where they will meet the winner between Ghana and Algeria.

The match will be staged at Kenyatta Stadium in Machako. Gate charges are free. with the kickoff set at 3.00 PM
