Kariobangi Sharks coach William Muluya praises keeper Brian Bwire

Kariobangi Sharks young keeper Brian Bwire has received praise from coach Wiliam Muluya following his heroic saves against Tusker on Saturday.

Bwire now 20-years-old, made his Sharks debut in the weekend fixture and was impressive according to his coach Muluya.

“I am impressed by his display and that show that he has really been working hard in training. That is the growth because you need to play for you to grow, he still a young lad,” Muluya told Goal.

“It is his first match and we only need to encourage him more. Maybe the two goals he conceded is another learning point for him.”

Bwire’s scintillating show and a 5-2 win maintained Sharks unbeaten run against Tusker in four league matches.

The former Green Commandos custodian, who completed school last year at Kakamega School, was signed by the Kariobangi based side last season and has been forced to sit on the bench with Muluya preferring experienced John Oyemba.
