VAR - clear handball in the box, second penalty for Nigeria denied.
I've seen similar penalties given in this world cup.
I'll say again VAR is a good initiative if USED properly!#NGA 1-1 #ARG#WorldCup — Thandi Merafe (@thandi_399) June 26, 2018
VAR?? Are u there?? — robertmarawa (@robertmarawa) June 26, 2018
I think a team should have three opportunities to review decisions. Once a team has exhausted its review options the ref would use his discretion whether to review or not. Though I still feel the system is a spoiler, I prefer a goal line tech more. — Bonga Mdletshe (@mdletshebb) June 26, 2018
With VAR the cameras are functioning. Human referees make mistakes. No matter how well trained or educated humans are, they will make mistakes with & without cameras assistance. Even with VAR, some decisions can still have vary in interpretation & we got to respect the ref — Ignat Football (@IgnatFootball) June 26, 2018
Funny to hear and read journalists talk about VAR as if it's a person. VAR is a device like spectacles to help refs see better, but inconsistent errors don't arise from VAR, they arrive from human referees watching the screen. We can see errors from previous games corrected today — Ignat Football (@IgnatFootball) June 26, 2018
The biggest challenge for VAR now is not the cameras or system or referees watching the screen, is nearly everyone at home watching the TV replays think they're a pro referee who understands all the rules. Even journalists and players don't understand all the rules. #WorldCup — Ignat Football (@IgnatFootball) June 27, 2018

Argentina can win the WC ....but agree with you about Maradona... but better take him with you anywhere faaaarrrr from Argentina. Is embarrassing. But let me to tell you something, the bastard is like this ... and this is the worst part.... — Alejandro A. Heredia (@AleAHeredia) June 26, 2018
As much as Argentina didn't deserve to win this game,I must admit the fact that Nigeria lost this game to the bench.— Chukwuemeka (@emeks_coly) June 26, 2018
Messi always gets compared to Maradona, Pele, R9.
Ronaldo gets compared to Messi
Think that says it all... — Kirk Rayment (@Kirk_Rayment) June 26, 2018
