Ayew nominated for Swansea City Player of the Year

Ghana striker Jordan Ayew has been shortlisted for Swansea City supporters' Player of the Year award.

The 26-year-old is currently one of the club's brightest spots in the Premier League this season, with 11 goals to his name so far, as the Swans continue the fight to beat the drop.

The Ghanaian, who won the club's player of the month twice this season, is in contention with Polish goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski, Alfie Mawson, Federico Fernandez and South Korean international Ki Sung-Yueng for the Player of the Year award.

The winner will be announced on May 2 to succeed midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson, who left to join Everton.
