AFC Leopards midfielder Whyvonne Isuza linked with a move to KCB

AFC Leopards midfielder Whyvonne Isuza could join newly promoted side KCB.

Isuza is among the big-name signing linked with a move to the Bankers, who gained promotion to the Kenyan Premier League from the National Super League last season.

According to sources close to the player, KCB have made contact of Isuza, alongside defender Salim 'Shittu' Abdala.

“KCB are in serious business and they want to sign big names. We believe that Isuza can bring in a lot of experience to the squad because we are not going there as mere participants, but serious competitors,” said a source within the club, who spoke to Goal.

"If everything goes as planned, then he can sign anytime, that is if he's not done so as we speak. The deal is almost done."

KCB are understood to be plotting to vamp the squad ahead of the new season set to kick-off on December 8.

The bankers, who finished second in the lower tier, have so far snatched coach Ouna from relegated Wazito.
