VIDEO: Lionel Messi’s Navy SEAL bodyguard Yassine Cheuko offers to fight Logan Paul after seeing WWE superstar make ‘joke’ boxing proposal to Inter Miami icon
Lionel Messi’s former Navy SEAL bodyguard, Yassine Cheuko, has offered to fight Logan Paul after seeing the WWE star call out Inter Miami’s captain.
Eight-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi has become embroiled in a legal battle with Paul. That is due to conflict between the PRIME and Mas+ hydration drink brands. There have been accusations of “anti-competitive” behaviour and trademark infringements, with neither side willing to back down.

Social media sensation Paul suggested at one stage that he would be happy to settle matters in the ring, before going on to say: “Bro, people really think I want to fight Messi because I made that video. Everyone’s like, ‘Of course, you want to fight someone retired and smaller than you.’ It was a f*cking joke.”

DID YOU KNOW?
Word of said offer never made it’s way to Messi, with the Argentine icon focused on professional matters in South Florida. His workload is being carefully managed as Inter Miami take in MLS and CONCACAF Champions Cup fixtures.
WHAT YASSINE CHEUKO SAID
Martial arts expert Cheuko has now stated on a video from Happy Punch that he would happily step in for Messi if Paul really does want a tussle. He said: “Look, Leo doesn’t know who this guy is. If he really wants a fight, he can fight against me, not against a soccer player.” Cheuko’s training partner chips in with: “You would destroy him.”
