<p>Modric made his final appearance for Madrid on Saturday as they rounded off the 2024-25 La Liga campaign against Real Sociedad, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/real-madrid-player-ratings-vs-real-sociedad-kylian-mbappe-luka-modric-carlo-ancelotti/blta43f8f6fceff741b" target="_blank">winning 2-0</a> courtesy of a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/kylian-mbappe-lionel-messi-cristiano-ronaldo-real-madrid-hits-impressive-landmark-with-brace-and-moves-closer-to-winning-pichichi/blt5211a293a4dff504" target="_blank">brace by Kylian Mbappe</a>. It was earlier announced that the veteran midfielder would exit the club this summer after the expiry of his current deal.</p>

<p>Former Madrid star Kroos, who was Modric's midfield partner for a decade, was in attendance at the Santiago Bernabeu a year after he retired from the game and the German star caught up with the maestro and gave him a hug.</p>
