<p>The Red Devils are in the market for a new full-back as they look to rebuild under Ruben Amorim and the Lecce star is a target that the new coach has personally requested, journalist Gerardo Fasano told <a href="https://www.areanapoli.it/calciomercato/dorgu-il-manchester-offre-35-milioni-il-napoli-30-ultime-su-skriniar-e-ismajili_572925.html" target="_blank"><em>AreaNapoli</em></a>.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>United are lining up an offer worth up to €35 million (£29m/$37m), the reporter says, and Napoli are prepared to come close to that offer, though they would consider loaning the 20-year-old back to Lecce. It is more than a two-horse race, however, as Chelsea and Tottenham have already been credited with an interest in Dorgu.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>Dorgu joined Lecce from Nordsjaelland in 2022 in an initial loan deal before completing a permanent move a year later. He was initially used as a left-back but has been used as a winger more recently - often on the right side. He has scored three goals in 12 Serie A games this season - one more than he managed in 32 matches last term.</p>
