    WHAT HAPPENED

New England Revolution’s Peyton Miller, fresh off his first MLS goal, is reportedly on the radar of several Premier League clubs.

According to multiple reports, the Revolution academy graduate is on Tottenham’s radar as the North Londoners have identified the teenager as a summer transfer target. The 17-year-old has caught the attention of scouts following his recent performances in the MLS. That includes scoring his first senior goal in a 3-0 win over CF Montreal and that has only added to the interest in the young defender.

So much so that Ange Postecoglou’s side isn’t the only one interested, as Fox Sports' Doug McIntyre has reported that "at least one Premier League club" is interested in purchasing Miller this summer.

Seth Macomber of the Blazing Musket was the first to report the news of Spurs' interest.

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

The 17-year-old defender is in his second season as a senior star for the New England Revolution and has established himself as a consistent presence on the team. That is proven by the fact that Miller has already made more appearances this season (11), than the entirety of the 2024 season (10) combined. Not only that, he has contributed to two goals, which doubles his goal contributions from last season in the same number of appearances.

    WHAT’S NEXT?

Following their 3-0 win away over CF Montreal, the New England Revolution have moved into 10th place on the Eastern Conference table and are two points back in the race for a playoff spot. They now have three consecutive home games with FC Cincinnati up first on June 14, followed by Nashville SC on June 19, and then Colorado Rapids on June 28.
