Ederson, who joined City from Benfica in 2017, is all set to leave the club after spending eight memorable years as Pep Guardiola begins reshaping his squad ahead of the upcoming 2025-26 campaign. The club have reportedly identified Ederson's replacement as they are eyeing a move for Burnley's James Trafford.

While Galatasaray are now the front-runners to sign the 31-year-old goalkeeper, he also had lucrative offers from Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal and champions Al-Ittihad.
