Bayern were left shocked by how the opening 45 minutes panned out. Suspension ruled him out of the game and Harry Kane still has to wait to get his hands on a first major trophy of his professional career. The Tottenham legend moved to Bayern precisely to win silverware, but shockingly didn't get his hands on any trophies during his debut season. He'd made his way down to the side of the pitch just before the final whistle in Leipzig, only to have that moment ripped away for at least another few days.

Ultimately, Bayern will almost certainly still be champions - a point from their next game against Borussia Monchengladbach at the Allianz Arena on May 10, or indeed failure from Bayer Leverkusen to beat Freiburg on Sunday, is enough. If nothing else, the delay of potentially just a week means they could seal the title in front of their home fans in Munich instead, and with Kane in the line-up this time.
