Xavi was sacked as Barca boss at the end of last season, and ex-Bayern Munich manager Flick eventually replaced him. There has been speculation the pair do not see eye to eye but they appeared to cold water on such theories after Flick went to Xavi's home this week and posed for a photo with the Spaniard's children - Asia and Dan.

WHAT XAVI SAID
Xavi posted on Instagram to his millions of followers the photo of the two coaches together and wrote a message that translates to: "All the best, Hansi. Visca Barca."
Visca el Barca is a Catalan saying meaning, 'Long live Barcelona'.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
It may have been the right decision to move Xavi on as former Germany national boss Flick has Barca sitting top of La Liga after nine matches. Plus, they sit three points ahead of rivals Real Madrid. Whether they can maintain this excellent start remains to be seen.
