England's women's national team go into 2025 with one big aim - that to defend their European title. There have been some disappointments for the Lionesses lately, with them failing to secure a spot for Great Britain at the Olympic Games in 2024, but they remain one of the best teams on the planet, having reached the 2023 Women's World Cup final.
Before the 2025 European Championships come around, England have already successfully achieved some form of revenge over the team that beat them in that final, after winning against Spain in the 2025 edition of the UEFA Women's Nations League, which began in February. That competition is preparing them nicely for Euros, which begin on July 2.
