Revealed: Chelsea asking price for Conor Gallagher as Tottenham eye up shock January transfer

It has been reported earlier that Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a January move for the 23-year-old midfielder, and the reported asking price comes from The Sun. The Lilywhites have been targeting the Chelsea man after the injury to James Maddison and the possible sale of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg this winter.

Gallagher said last month when asked about his contract situation: "I’m sure that will get sorted out, everyone knows Chelsea is my club and I love playing for them. The fans are brilliant and I’m loving it right now and I’m sure it will get itself sorted out."

It has also been reported that Newcastle United and West Ham are interested in Gallagher as they also look to strengthen the midfield. Meanwhile, Ange Postecoglou is also said to be targeting Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace as he looks to bolster the centre of his defence.

With the January transfer window just a week away, Spurs will have to make their move for Gallagher soon as they look towards bolstering their side in a bid to rejoin the title fight with Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Aston Villa.
