WHAT HAPPENED?
Walsh joined Barcelona in the summer of 2022 from Manchester City and she has been a major part of the Barcelona team over the last two seasons as they went on to win La Liga and Champions League back-to-back. However, over the summer Walsh has been linked with a return to the WSL due to 'personal reasons'.

According to La Transmissió de la Gelma, Arsenal made a world record-breaking bid worth €1.1 million for Walsh. However, Barcelona decided to reject the offer from the Gunners as the club and coach Pere Romeu want the midfielder to remain in sunny Catalonia for the season.
