    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Flick is determined to keep his squad fully focused ahead of a crucial week, and as a result, has ruled out any post-match celebrations if the Catalans triumph over Madrid in the Copa del Rey final. The German coach is wary of potential fatigue or distractions ahead of the Champions League semi-final first leg against Inter at Montjuic just four days later. Per Mundo Deportivo, no time has been set aside in the team’s schedule for celebrations in Seville.

Instead, following the final at Estadio La Cartuja, the squad will have a quiet team dinner before heading to bed. They will return to Barcelona on Sunday morning and any celebrations will be kept to a minimum, confined to the pitch and dressing room, should Barca lift the trophy.
