Everton lost to Tottenham Hotspur because Frank Lampard played Alex Iwobi in the wrong position, according to fans.

Having lost 2-1 to Manchester United last time out, the Toffees were hoping to return to winning ways against Spurs, however, they were hit for two in North London.

Surprisingly, the Nigeria international was utilised as a right wing back – a decision that did not pay off – as he was denied a chance to show his creativity, while the Toffees spent most of their time defending.
