Spain have made it to the final for the first-ever time in the history of the tournament, and will face the side who finished third and fourth in their last two appearances in the World Cup, England.
La Roja defeated Switzerland, Netherlands and Sweden in the knock-outs and faced just the one defeat that was a 4-0 loss to Japan in the group stage. Whereas having topped Group D with a perfect record, the Lionesses have surpassed Nigeria, Colombia and Australia in the knockout stages.
