We respect Enyimba but not scared of them, says Ifeanyi Ubah's Obaje

Ifeanyi Ubah's Godwin Obaje says his side are not scared but only respect the pedigree of third-placed Enyimba when they meet on Sunday in Nnewi.

The forward netted his 11th goal of the season in the Anambra Warriors 1-1 draw against the Sky Blue Stars and he believes they are destined for maximum points in the South-east derby.

"We are getting prepared and ready for Enyimba on Sunday," Obaje told Goal.

"The draw at Remo Stars has given us a confidence boost though we wanted to get maximum points in Shagamu but we were able to get a point.

"That's it not a bad result for us. Nconfidencettention is on Enyimba, we want to do everything possible as a team to get victory against them.

"We only have 10 matches to go and we need to fight hard in every game for victory. It is a local derby between us but we respect Enyimba as one of the big teams in the league but but we are scared of them. We know we will win the match.''

On his goal scoring targets, Obaje played down quest for top scorer award but insists helping his side win more games are what matters.

"I want to try my best and working hard to keep scoring for the team to win matches. I'm not keen about being the top scorer. It is the three points that matters now and not about who scores the goals."
