OFFICIAL: Imoh Ezekiel signs for Turkish side Konyaspor

Nigeria ’s Imoh Ezekiel has joined Konyaspor on a three-year deal from Qatari side Al Arabi.

The 23-year-old who had previously played for Anderlecht and Standard Liege is back in Europe with the Konya Büyükşehir Belediye Stadium outfit for an undisclosed fee.

Konyaspor's deputy President, Ahmet Baydar announced that the Mustafa Akcay’s side who finished ninth in the Turkish Super Lig last season have sealed the transfer of the former 36 Lions forward.

"Today a new football player is participating in my family. We have agreed on three years with Imoh Ezekiel, a young football player who has previously played in important teams like Anderlecht and Standard Liege in Belgium,” Baydar  told the club website.

Ezekiel was on target for Al Arabi eight times in 24 league appearances as they finished ninth in the Stars League table.

He joins Ivory Coast's Moussa Fofana and Burkian Faso's Abdou Razak Traoré in the growing list of Africans in Konya.
