Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates kept apart in Telkom Knockout Cup quarter-final draw

Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates avoided each other in the quarter-finals of the 2017 Telkom Knockout Cup.

Having played away from home in the previous round, the Buccaneers will enjoy the home ground advantage in the Last 8 with a meeting against Polokwane City. 

Amakhosi on the other hand, will travel to the Eastern Cape to face Chippa United, who knocked out Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday.

Platinum Stars will host Bloemfontein Celtic, while Bidvest Wits will again be at home, this time against giant slayers Baroka FC. 

Kgoloko Thobejane's men upset the odds to defeat Cape Town City in Polokwane. This was City's third successive defeat, and questions will be asked about their sudden loss of form under Benni McCarthy.   

The PSL will announced dates, venues and kick-off times for the four matches in due course.
