Hasaacas Ladies win Ghana women's Special Competition after incredible comeback

Hasaacas Ladies defeated Ampem Darkoa Ladies 3-2 to win the 2019 NC women's football Special Competition title after completing an incredible fightback at the El Wak Sports Stadium in Accra on the weekend.

Ampem Darkoa gained the lead after 19 minutes through Ophelia Amponsah, exploiting the porous defense of Hasaacas.

Nine minutes later, Mavis Owusu doubled the Dormaa-based side's lead, firing past hapless goalkeeper Faustina Nyamekye.

It was a stunning end to the game for the Darkoa ladies after Evelyn Badu pulled one back in the 38th minute and Milot Pokuaa's strike dragged Yussif Basigi's side level before half time.

Perpetual Agyekum scored her ninth goal of the competition inside the last 15 minutes to seal the Basigi's ladies comeback win.

Hasaacas claimed the 50,000 cash prize as winners and their captain Pepertual Agyekum finished as top-scorer with nine goals, while Constance Agyemang was named the Discovery of the Tournament.
