Agent opens up on Michael Seri's future amid Arsenal, Chelsea interests

Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri is undecided about his future despite interests from Arsenal and Chelsea, according to his agent Franklin Mala.

The 26-year-old has been a revelation at the Allianz Riviera since his arrival from Pacos de Ferreira in June 2015.

Seri, previously scouted by Manchester United in January, weighed in two goals and five assists in 31 league matches for Lucien Favre's side as they finished eighth in the French Ligue 1.

Chelsea and Arsenal are reportedly in the hunt to sign the Ivorian from the French top-flight this summer.

And with Napoli joining the transfer race, Mala has disclosed what could determine the midfielder's future.

"It’s true that there are possibilities in England, so we’ll see," Mala told Sport Witness.

"But [new Napoli manager] Carlo Ancelotti has a strong image and is very respected by the players he’s managed, which can be a decisive factor for Seri.

"Basically, he works via his emotions. He’ll go where he’s most desired, so if you really want him and you’re welcoming…

"Because Napoli play nice football, and over the years they’ve become a bigger club, so he’s going to listen very carefully."
