Arsenal got off to a slow start, going 1-0 down to an Ebony Salmon strike after 35 minutes, but second-half goals from Victoria Pelova, Lotte Wubben-Moy and Stina Blackstenius <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/lotte-wubben-moy-lionesses-star-arsenal-comeback-win-aston-villa-rachel-daly-wsl/bltef450169d121a4d2" target="_blank">completed a dramatic comeback victory</a>. After a hectic day both on and off the pitch, Williamson thanked the fans for being as "loud as ever".

WHAT WILLIAMSON SAID

The 3-1 victory, thanks to late goals from Wubben-Moy and Blackstenius, keeps up Arsenal's vague WSL title hopes as they now sit five points off the top with five matches remaining. It was also a boost for Williamson's return to fitness as she played the full 90 minutes for just the second time this season. Off the pitch, however, the kick-off delay due to traffic brought more criticism to the Gunners' organisation issues, coming just a week after they were <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/arsenal-chelsea-socks-wsl-delayed-bizarre/blt31bfd237e90d4d52#cs70aa45fcb67a61aa" target="_blank">forced to wear Chelsea's socks</a> after a kit malfunction.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Having played the full 90 minutes against Chelsea and now Aston Villa, Williamson will want to get more game time in the tank as the Gunners aim for league and cup glory.
