The Emerald Isle is set for one of its biggest fight nights ever on September 13. Donovan’s fans were left further frustrated as in an eventful eighth, their man had legitimately knocked down Crocker before him being thrown out and was well ahead on the judges’ cards.

‘The Croc’ had thought the win had earned him a shot at the IBF champion, Jaron 'Boots' Ennis, but with the American vacating the crown to move up weight divisions, he must now go again with Donovan (who won an appeal and was granted a rematch) at Windsor Park, if he is to reign supreme as world champion. This second fight gives Crocker the chance to silence the doubters and prove that he’s one of the best welterweights in the world. In the other corner, Donovan, who felt he was unfairly treated six months ago, is looking to set the record straight.
