Watch: Australian youngster keeps missing Brazilan superstar Neymar, but finally meets his hero

Rudy just wanted to meet his hero Neymar - a player he has idolised while he was growing up.

The Australian youngster first set his sights on meeting the Brazilian superstar when then Selecao came Down Under for a friendly in 2017, but Neymar was forced to withdraw from the squad.

His parents then organised for Rudy to see Neymar play in Spain for Barcelona - only for the gun attacker to make the transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.

To make matters worse, Barcelona's match at the Nou Camp was played behind closed doors meaning Rudy didn't even get to see Neymar's former team play.

When PSG got wind of Rudy's story, they invited the Aussie out to Paris to meet and watch Neymar play.

Incredibly, Neymar got injured just before Rudy arrived in France, but PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi made sure Aussie lived out his dream

When Neymar was back on the park, Rudy got to watch him play at the Parc des Princes and then meet him following the match.

Seeing Rudy's face when he first is up close to Neymar warms the heart.

The Brazilian often cops flak for his conduct on the pitch, but he certainly shouldn't get it for what he does off it.
