VOTE: AFC Champions League 2017 - Fans' Asian Player of the Week

This week saw intense action in the AFC Champions League 2017 with the first leg matches of the Round of 16 knockout stage taking place. 

Among all the stellar performances that we saw, we have picked out three standout performers for the fans to deliberate upon and decide whose contribution was the best of the lot.

Our first candidate is the Toyota Player of the Week - Al Ain's Omar Abdulrahman. The tournament leader in goals and assists was in spectacular form against Esteghlal as he led the Emirati team to the quarterfinals by netting two goals and an assist in a 6-1 result.

The next candidate is Goal's Player of the Week - Shanghai SIPG's Hulk. The burly Brazilian was in his element, creating a goal and then scoring one himself to lead his team to a comfortable win over Jiangsu Suning and book a spot in the quarterfinals. 

The final candidate is Kawasaki Frontale winger Yu Kobayashi who has been in spectacular form of late. He grabbed two assists and scored a goal in Kawasaki Frontale's 4-1 win over Muangthong United.
