Liverpool will take on Tottenham in the 2018-19 UEFA Champions League final in Madrid, looking to be the champions of Europe for the sixth time.

The Reds last lifted the Champions League trophy following a dramatic finale against AC Milan in 2005. Jurgen Klopp was a runner-up in 2013 with Borussia Dortmund and will be looking to go one step further by winning his first major trophy with Liverpool on Sunday. They suffered defeat in the final at the hands of Real Madrid last season.

Liverpool's heavy-metal football has been a delight to watch for fans and amidst a really challenging race for the title in the Premier League, Klopp and co. have managed to outlive league winners Manchester City in Europe.

After progressing from a group that had the likes of PSG and Napoli, Liverpool beat Bayern Munich and Porto to set up a semi-final against Barcelona.

The five-time Champions League victors pulled off a stunning comeback in the second leg of the semi-final after going down 0-3 in the first leg and ensured a place in the final for the second consecutive season.
