Timothy Odhiambo to fill in the void left by suspended Ulinzi Stars skipper James Saruni

Timothy Odhiambo is expected to fill the place of James Saruni when Ulinzi Stars hosts Bandari at the Afraha Stadium.

The Ulinzi Stars first choice custodian was sent off in the final minute of the game against Kakamega Homeboyz.

But Dunstan Nyaudo will have Odhiambo who just returned from taking part in the Hero Intercontinental Cup with Harambee Stars in India.

Odhiambo will have to fight for a place between the post against Jacktone Odhiambo who has three cleans sheets in five matches.

Nyaudo, will be hoping to put to a halt a three-game winless run. Ulinzi Stars lost 2-1 to Sofapaka, went down 3-0 to Tusker and draw with Homeboyz at home last time out.

The results saw the Soldiers dropped two places down to fourth on the table.

Nyaudo will also have an additional option in defender Eugene Ochieng who resumed training after completing his military course.

Bandari heads to the clash with a fine form, having picked two straight wins in the league, but their poor run against Ulinzi Stars may be their biggest worry.

The Dockers have won only once against Ulinzi in the past 15 matches.

In the last meeting between the two sides, Masita Masuta came from the bench to rescue the officer with an 86th-minute equalizer.

The winner of the match will shoot to second on the log, above Mathare United, who have 32 points.

Bandari have 30 points from 19 matches while Ulinzi Stars are fourth with 29 points from 18 games.
