Liverpool target Mahmoud Dahoud is now being monitored by La Liga giants Barcelona ahead of a potential summer move, according to reports from the Liverpool Echo.
Jurgen Klopp's long-standing interest in the 21-year-old midfielder has failed to transpire into a move but the Syrian-born star has just 18 months to run on his current deal at Borussia Monchengladbach, meaning the Bundesliga club may be forced to sell.
Juventus have been linked with Dahoud, who has made 10 starts in the German top tier this season, though Barcelona are now thought to be the frontrunners.
