Rayon Sports’ Roberto Oliveira promises to shock Enyimba

Rayon Sports head coach, Roberto Oliveira has reiterated his team’s desire to shock Enyimba in the return leg of the quarter-final of the Caf Confederation Cup fixture in Aba on Sunday.

The Rwandan side played a goalless draw in the first leg played at the Stade Regional Nyamirambo, Kigali last weekend but coach Carmo in a press conference to herald the second leg game on Saturday at the Enyimba Stadium, Aba boasted that they have come to Nigeria with their sights on a place in the semi-final.

He said the People’s Elephant got lucky in Kigali because of the outstanding performance of their goalkeeper, Theophilus Afelokhai but that they have studied the team very well and have come to Nigeria with the strategy to beat Enyimba.

“We are not in Nigeria to see the country but to come and beat Enyimba. They were fortunate to survive us in Kigali but they won’t have any hiding place on Sunday before their fans,” Carmo told the media through an interpreter.

“We have the players to beat Enyimba. We have not come for a draw but an outright win that will take us to the semi-final.”

Rayon Sports have already surpassed expectations by their quarter-final exploits but a place in the last four will be another worthy feat for the east Africans.
