Paul Pogba accepts Goal 50 award

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is the latest player to accept their Goal 50 award, having been named as the 15th best player in the world.

The France international scored eight times and provided 12 assists as Juventus won the double before sealing a world record transfer to the Premier League.

Pogba's stellar season impressed former team-mate Lucio, who believes that the 23-year-old will be a massive figure at Old Trafford for years to come.

"I think Pogba has everything in him to do that at Man Utd. He’s got a big personality; he’s strong and powerful and has talent like all successful English Premier League players," the Brazilian told Goal.

After a slow start to the season with Manchester United, Pogba is now settling into Jose Mourinho's starting XI, and has chipped in with two goals in 13 Premier League appearances.
