Manchester United v Liverpool Betting Tips: Stunning Salah value to score at Old Trafford

If Mohamed Salah is not already having the perfect debut season at Liverpool, a North-West Derby goal on Saturday would go a long way to completing it.

The excellent Egyptian has netted against every fellow top six side bar Manchester United but will be aiming to complete his collection on Saturday lunchtime.

Jose Mourinho’s men contained the forward with relative success in the 0-0 draw at Anfield back in October, but to do so again, they may need to defend better than they did in Monday’s 3-2 win over Crystal Palace.

Salah is 11/8 (2.38) with bet365 to bag at Old Trafford, which would make him just the third Liverpool player to score 25 Premier League goals in one season after Robbie Fowler and Luis Suarez.

Firmino’s fine form

In previous seasons, there had been suggestions Liverpool needed to sign an out-and-out striker but forward Roberto Firmino is now making the central role his own.

Not only does the ex-Hoffenheim man excel at link-up play, he is also a fine goalscorer - as evidenceed by his 22 in all competitions this term - and is 15/8 (2.88) to add to his tally.

Sadio Mane has scored five goals in his last four in all forms and after showing his usual impressive pace to net in the 2-0 win over Newcastle last weekend, the 25-year-old is 12/5 (3.4) to score anytime.

Lukaku to threaten?

In Manchester United’s 2-1 triumph over Chelsea, Romelu Lukaku addressed critics of his big game performances by scoring the equalizer and setting up the winner.

The clinical Belgian is 7/4 (2.75) to score anytime here and further improve a seasonal goal return of 23 in all competitions.

Five of Marcus Rashford’s 14 Premier League goals for United have come against top four opposition and in this type of game, Jose Mourinho may value the energy provided by the 20-year-old.

He is 7/1 (8.0) to score the last goal, whilst Anthony Martial - who netted on his United debut in this fixture three years ago - can be found at 12/5 (3.40) to strike in 90 minutes.
