Watford's Foulquier returns to Granada on loan

Borussia Dortmund left-back Marcel Schmelzer is considering leaving the club at the end of the season if he is not afforded more playing time under Lucien Favre. Having made only two appearances for Dortmund this season, amassing only three minutes of playing time in total, the 31-year-old admits he is open to 'something exotic'. “If nothing has changed about my situation in Dortmund [by the end of the season], I would like to go abroad and do something exotic again,” Schmelzer told <a href="https://www.kicker.de/" target="_blank">Kicker</a>, before admitting that the club had offers for his services but refused to let him go. “I had to accept that even though I was very disappointed,” he said. “I already felt at the time that I wouldn't have many chances to play here and that's how it has happened.”

Denis Bouanga has insisted he will not leave Saint-Etienne during the January transfer window. The forward has been in superb form since joining the Greens last summer from Nimes, scoring seven league goals and providing three assists in 18 appearances.
