Kevin-Prince Boateng pays tribute to Italy legend Andrea Pirlo

Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Kevin Prince-Boateng has hailed his former teammate and AC Milan legend Andrea Pirlo after announcing his retirement from football.

The iconic playmaker called time on his career on Monday after playing his last game as a 90th substitute in New York City’s 2-0 win over Columbus Crew in the MLS playoff.

And Boateng has praised the 38-year-old who won 19 trophies in a stellar football career spanning 22 years.
