Tata Steel-owned Jamshedpur FC have initiated an interesting fan engagement platform by organising LIVE screenings of their matches in Fan Parks during the ongoing Indian Super League (ISL) season.
They have already organised two Fan parks in Modi Garden, Jamshedpur for their first two matches which were against Mumbai City FC and Bengaluru FC. Over 8000 people attended the screenings in the Fan Park so far. The club has plans of organising the Fan Park for the rest of their away matches as well.
ISLIn the Fan Park, the club set up food stalls and contests were held for the fans while Jamshedpur FC's official merchandise was also distributed. It was a carnival-like atmosphere in the Fan Park.
ISLJamshedpur FC have enjoyed good support from their fans last season. They had an impressive average home attendance of around 21,000 last season.
ISLThe concept of Fan Park is expected to ensure the fans stay connected to the team even during their travails away from the city.
After a decent maiden season in the ISL, the Men of Steel are off to a flying start this time. After the first two away matches, Jamshedpur are placed second in the points table with four points.
ISLThey began their campaign with a 2-0 win over Mumbai City FC in Mumbai and then held giants Bengaluru FC at their home for a 2-2 draw. Their first home match is on October 21 against ATK.
