Is the arrival of Edward Seda set to trigger the exit of Duncan Otieno at AFC Leopards?

AFC Leopards lead captain Duncan Otieno could be on his way out of the club following the arrival of another signing.

Ingwe have continued to beef up their squad with the raid at Mathare United for the services of midfielder Edward Seda. Seda has returned to The Den for the second time after agreeing to pen a three-year contract

However, close sources at the club have intimated to Goal that his arrival could signal the exit of captain Otieno.

Otieno is yet to feature for the club since returning from India, where he was part of the Harambee Stars squad that took part in a Four-Nation tournament and lost 2-0 in the final to the hosts.

“It seems that Duncan Otieno could be on his way out because the club has been looking for a player, who can play in his position if he decides to go.

"They (club) are planning to do business with the player. But we wait and see because we have a number of days left before the transfer window shuts.”

Otieno's commitment to the team has come under question by a section of the club fans who accused the skipper of ‘abandoning’ the team when he opted for the national team duties instead, of taking part in Super Cup tournament.
