Harambee Starlets will kick off their 2018 Cecafa Women Championships against Uganda.
The two sides most recently faced off in a two-legged Africa Women Cup of Nations Qualifier in April, with Kenya emerging victorous on a 1-0 aggregate.
Starlets also have will also face off with Ethiopia, Rwanda and defending champions Tanzania in the five-nation tournament set to be played in a round-robin format.
Kenya made it to the final in the 2016 edition held in Uganda, losing 2-1 to Tanzania.
Kenya will rely on the experience of the like of Esse Akida who topped the scorer’s chart in the last edition after netting six goals in five matches.
