The agent of Alen Halilovic has claimed the youngster is "devastated" to be missing Euro 2016 after he was cut from the final Croatia squad.
The Barcelona player, who spent last season on loan at Sporting Gijon, had been included in the nation's preliminary call-up for France.
Coach Ante Cacic ultimately decided against taking Halilovic among his 23, however, a decision that provoked the wrath of his representative.
"Alen is devastated. Not he nor anybody could have expected this," Zoran Stojadinovic told Goal.
"He has played more than other players in inferior leagues, but I am not surprised, this can happen in teams like Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro.

The agent went on to suggest that Cacic may have been influenced by other reasons not to take his young starlet.
"I'm not saying it was a political decision, but the truth is there are powerful people around the coach and they have the power to influence him," he added.
