Ethiopia U17 women hit Benin City for Nigeria clash

Ahead of Saturday's clash, the Ethiopia U17 women have arrived in Benin City for the first round, the second leg of the U17 Women's World Cup on Thursday.

The Ethiopian delegation made of 18 players and four officials led by coach Selam Zeray will land in Abuja on Thursday morning before later they moved to Benin City, venue of the match.

The east Africans forced a 1-1 draw in the first leg at the Addis Ababa Stadium with Tarikuwa Debiso's strike helping them escape a home defeat against Bala Nikyu's ladies.

The Ethiopians will be hoping to favourable result at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium to guarantee their progress to the final round of the qualifier.

The winner of either team over aggregate will engage the winner between Cameroon and Algeria in the final qualifying stage for the Uruguay 2018.
