The 38-year-old took to Instagram to express his delight at meeting up with his former Blues team-mates before they tamed the Tigers

Didier Drogba enjoyed the opportunity to reunite with old Chelsea pals John Terry, Cesc Fabregas, Diego Costa and Willian.

The Ivorian legend who marshalled the Blues’ attack from 2004-2012 visited team’s Cobham training centre before they silenced Hull City 2-0 at the Stamford Bridge.

Goals from Diego Costa and Gary Cahill ensured Antonio Conte’s men remain at the summit of the English Premier League log with 55 points – eight points more than second placed, Arsenal.

Drogba is currently a free agent after parting company with Montreal Impact at the end of the 2016 MLS season. He has been linked with a move to Corinthians plus a return to Marseille.
