In the Champions League, he has been directly involved in six goals - two goals and four assists, the highest among his teammates. Eriksen has missed only one Champions League game this season - a  group stage encounter against Barcelona where his side was handed a 4-2 defeat at home.

He scored against Internazionale Milan twice, both at the San Siro and Wembley. In fact in the home game against Inter, he come on from the bench in the last twenty minutes and scored a crucial goal that kept them alive in the competition.

In the quarter-final against Borussia Dortmund, he took the corner kick which Fernando Llorente then scored to make it 3-0 in the first leg itself.

However, his most important contributions came in the epic quarter-final tie against Manchester City. He assisted two of Son Heung-Min's goals as Spurs sneaked past City.

Eriksen had little to show against his former side Ajax in the semi-finals but with the biggest game of his career in sight, the Dane would be crucial to Spurs' hopes of lifting the trophy.
