Arsenal Team News: Injuries, suspensions and line-up vs Wolves

Arsenal head coach Unai Emery will be looking to continue their nine-game unbeaten run in the Premier League when Wolves come to town on Sunday.

The Gunners' last domestic match ended in a 1-1 draw with Liverpool and Emery's side have looked impressive since losing their opening two games of the season against Manchester City and Chelsea.

Wolves have played more league games against Arsenal without winning (eight) than any other opponent but will be hoping to change that when they face Emery's men this time around.


Arsenal Injuries


Danny Welbeck is ruled out with a suspected broken ankle following his shocking injury against Sporting CP , while Stephan Lichtsteiner is a doubt with a muscular problem.

However, Nacho Monreal could be available after he missed Thursday's match with a hamstring injury.

Mohamed Elneny, Laurent Koscielny and Dinos Mavropanos are ruled out.

Rob Holding looks likely to partner Sokratis in defence following their solid showing against Sporting.

Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira are expected to start in midfield and Alex Iwobi is likely to come back in for Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Alexandre Lacazette, meanwhile, will almost certainly start upfront.

Wolves will hand Diogo Jota a fitness test before Sunday's match against Arsenal

Ivan Cavaleiro started his first match of the season in the defeat to Brighton last weekend and is expected to retain his place.

Portuguese coach Nuno Espirito Santo has an otherwise fully fit squad to choose from for the match at Emirates Stadium.
