Algeria have requested to FIFA that their World Cup qualification playoff against Cameroon be replayed because of "'scandalous refereeing".
Algeria lost 2-1 at home on Tuesday to the Indomitable Lions, who fought back and secured the away victory after extra-time that saw them progress to Qatar on the away goals rule.
However, the North Africans have questioned the officiating of referee Bakary Gassama and want the game to be played again.

In a statement, the Algerian Football Federation said: "Faf officially lodges an appeal with Fifa against the scandalous arbitration which distorted the result of the match.
"We are determined to use all the legally permitted votes to have their rights restored and to replay the match under conditions guaranteeing the honesty and partiality of the arbitration."
Algeria had a 1-0 advantage from the first leg but Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting levelled the scores early in the return meeting in Blida.
The score stayed that way after 90 minutes, despite two disallowed goals from Islam Slimani, forcing extra-time.
Ahmed Touba thought he had sent Algeria to the World Cup when he put them ahead on aggregate in the 118th minute, but Karl Toko-Ekambi's strike in the fourth minute of added time sent Cameroon to Qatar instead.
Algeria join Egypt in making FIFA appeal
Algeria are the second country to intend to lodge an appeal after Egypt requested their game against Senegal be replayed.
The Egyptian FA claimed their players were "attacked" by Senegal supporters, particularly Mohamed Salah, and they also filed a racism complaint against their opponents.
