Robins was able to see the funny side of the surprising interaction between Wright and O’Hare, with Coventry’s boss telling Sky Sports afterwards: “I think there was a bit of ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’ between him and Callum – I’m going to kill them! WHAT NEXT FOR WRIGHT?
Wright formed part of the USMNT squad at the 2022 World Cup, netting in their last-16 defeat to the Netherlands, and will be hoping to keep himself in contention for future call-ups heading towards the CONCACAF Nations League finals and Copa America in 2024.
