VIDEO: Luis Suarez spits in face of Seattle Sounders security after Leagues Cup final defeat as Inter Miami striker is lined up for another ban after previous biting incidents
Suarez allowed his temper to boil over at the final whistle, with the veteran striker confronting Sounders midfielder Obed Vargas. The Uruguayan frontman grabbed his opponent by the neck, before players from both teams piled into an unsightly melee.
After being dragged away from the confrontation, Suarez was caught on camera taking in an angry exchange with the Sounders’ director of security Gene Ramirez. Suarez spat at the staff member before Herons goalkeeper Osar Ustari once again pulled the volatile 38-year-old away from an unnecessary argument.
