USWNT star Trinity Rodman confirms relationship with American tennis player Ben Shelton in loved-up Instagram post

Rumours had been circulating for a while that United States international Rodman – the daughter of NBA legend Dennis – had linked up with two-time Grand Slam semi-finalist Shelton. They have now gone public with a post on Instagram.

Shelton has shared a series of images that are captioned: “I been focused, but I’m steady climbin’, I’m nowhere near my peak.” His final snap shows Rodman planting a kiss on his cheek as they share an elevator ride.

Rodman, who helped the U.S. to gold medal glory at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, responded to Shelton’s post with a “shooters shoot I guess” comment. Several stars from the world of professional tennis have also been quick to chip in.

US Open champion Coco Gauff has written “hard launchhhh!!”, with Sloane Stephens favouring a similar response as an enigmatic presence on the courts lifts the lid on his private life, while Shelton’s fellow countryman Frances Tiafoe has gone with: “We gram now.”

Shelton, who has two ATP titles to his name, recently reached a career-high No.12 in the world rankings. Rodman, meanwhile, is up to 46 caps and 10 goals for her country at just 22 years of age – with her club football currently being played at NWSL side the Washington Spirit.
