Wrexham director Shaun Harvey has said in The Leader of reaching a three-year anniversary in North Wales: “It's been a magical rollercoaster of a ride for three years under Rob and Ryan and arguably the best is still to come. What that entails and how it plays out, I don't think anyone can accurately predict. All we do know is there will be lots of honest endeavour both on and off the pitch, everybody will do their best to be successful. Results on the pitch make a football club but ultimately, it's what goes on off it that defines it. Everybody around Wrexham is loving the experience of seeing how far the club can go.
“The further up the pyramid you get, the more that love will become difficult to maintain. Once you are a threat, you take on a different guise; you are no longer the underdog, you are now a target that everybody is aiming for. The further up the leagues you go, the more professional and established clubs you come up against and ultimately the financial advantage that we have had begins to dissolve. But at that stage we have got to make sure we are better than everybody or at least as good. A lot of the stuff that we are doing is about making sure that when the field is a little more level, we are still in a position to be able to compete.”
