103 minutes! Oli McBurnie sets staggering new Premier League mark with last-gasp equaliser for Sheffield United against West Ham

The dramatic Premier League encounter between West Ham and Sheffield United saw Oli McBurnie scoring an equaliser in the 103rd minute of the match, which helped The Blades snatch a point away from the Hammers. This was the latest any player has scored in a Premier League game, breaking the previous record held by Liverpool's Dirk Kuyt, who scored a penalty against Arsenal in 2011 in the 102nd minute.

Earlier in the match, former Blackburn Rovers star Ben Brereton Diaz marked his Premier League debut with a goal as he scored the equaliser after Maxwel Cornet handed West Ham the lead. James Ward-Prowse then restored his team's lead from the penalty spot but it was McBurnie who stole the show in the end to ensure the game ended 2-2.

Despite McBurnie's last-minute heroics, Sheffield United have managed to pick up just two points from their last five Premier League games and are currently rock-bottom in the league with just 10 points from 21 matches.

Chris Wilder's side will be next seen in action in the FA Cup fourth-round on January 27 as they take on Brighton. The Blades will return to Premier League action three days later away at Crystal Palace.
