The former Atlanta United player was a free agent
Received offers from PSV Eindhoven and a Premier League club
WHAT HAPPENED?
The United States men's national team defender left The Five Stripes after seven years and has now joined the 2023 Supporters' Shield winners ahead of the 2024 MLS season, the club confirmed on Wednesday. Robinson who joined Atlanta United in 2017, became a free agent at the end of the 2023 MLS season. The club reportedly made an offer to retain the defender's service by using targeted allocation money (TAM), but the player's camp did not agree to the deal.

After signing for the club, the defender told the club's official website, "I’m very excited to be signing for FC Cincinnati. This is an amazing organization from top to bottom, and I will do everything in my power to win more trophies for the passionate fans and outstanding people of this city. I’m ecstatic to play my first home game at TQL Stadium."
